MEET OUR FOUNDER
My name is María del Pilar Fernández Párraga. I have a law degree from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, a master’s degree in Access to the Legal Profession, and specialized legal training in both Spain and the United Kingdom.
I have always had a clear vocation for law and, in particular, for accompanying people at important moments in their lives, helping them to understand how the decisions they make—whether personal, family, or professional—have a legal dimension that is much more present than we usually think. Because behind every legal consultation there is a personal story, a family, a project, or a future that deserves to be taken care of.
My understanding of this profession and its real impact on people’s lives changed profoundly during the six years I lived and worked in the United Kingdom. Living in another country, integrating into a different legal and cultural environment, and facing real personal and professional decisions made me ask myself very specific questions from within:
What happens when you live your life in another country? How does that affect your future rights, such as your pension, if you decide to return to your country of origin at some point? What are the legal implications of getting married abroad or starting a family in an international context? What does it mean to adopt a different surname? And how are all these decisions reflected over time in the legal sphere?
That experience allowed me to understand that the law does not only come into play when a conflict arises, but is constantly present in our daily decisions, conditioning personal, family, and professional situations here and outside Spain. That is why I firmly believe that its greatest value lies in understanding it in time, with clarity and support, before conflicts arise.
My training and experience focus on the areas that have the greatest impact on people’s lives, their assets, and their legacy: real estate law, commercial law, international mobility, and family law. At that crossroads, I found my way of practicing, connecting the legal with the human, bringing together disciplines that are often treated separately to offer coherent, practical solutions aligned with each personal story.
Over time, I confirmed something that guides my work every day. The law is not a barrier or an accumulation of rules. It is a tool to protect, organize, and provide stability to what really matters, when practiced with rigor, closeness, and values.
